前言

弟兄姊妹,   我們今天來談 “愛”(Love)。在教會中,   我們常常聽到這個字,   包括愛神,   愛人,   愛教會,   愛家庭,   等等。

“愛” (Love,   Loves,   Loved),   這個字在聖經當中總共出現了 721次。在這 721 次當中,   舊約出現了 408 次,   而新約出現了 313 次。在舊約的 319 次當中,   有 37 次出現在箴言。

弟兄姊妹,   “愛”可以是一個動詞,   表示很 “喜愛”某人或某事,   譬如愛神,   愛人。這是一種用法。在另一方面,   愛也可以是一個名詞,   表示 “愛的本質”。

今天我們來用箴言書當中的經文來學習,   希望我們能夠愛神,   愛人,   更多。

弟兄姊妹,   在下列箴言經文中, 在英文版 NIV 當中,  每一句都有 “Love”這個字出現。但是在中文和合本的翻譯當中,   不一定有 “愛”這個字出現,   它以其它名詞或形容詞代替。請弟兄姊妹注意。

1. 愛 (動詞) (Love, Loves, Loved)

(1). 神所愛的

<st1:time hour="15" minute="12" w:st="on">3:12</st1:time> 因為耶和華 “所愛的”,   他必責備,   正如父親責備所喜愛的兒子。

<st1:time hour="15" minute="12" w:st="on">3:12</st1:time> because the LORD disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in.

4:6 不可離棄智慧,   智慧就護衛你。要 “愛”他,   他就保守你。

4:6 Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you.

9:8 不要責備褻慢人,   恐怕他恨你。要責備智慧人,   他必 “愛”你。

9:8 Do not rebuke a mocker or he will hate you; rebuke a wise man and he will love you.

12:1 “喜愛”管教的,   就是 “喜愛”知識。恨惡責備的,   卻是畜類。

12:1 Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid.

15:9 惡人的道路,   為耶和華所憎惡。追求公義的,   為他所 “喜愛”。

15:9 The LORD detests the way of the wicked but he loves those who pursue righteousness.

<st1:time hour="18" minute="21" w:st="on">18:21</st1:time> 生死在舌頭的權下,   “喜愛”他的,   必喫他所結的果子。

<st1:time hour="18" minute="21" w:st="on">18:21</st1:time> The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

19:8 得著智慧的,   “愛惜”生命。保守聰明的,   必得好處。

19:8 He who gets wisdom loves his own soul; he who cherishes understanding prospers.

<st1:time hour="20" minute="13" w:st="on">20:13</st1:time> 不要 “貪”睡,   免致貧窮。眼要睜開,   你就喫飽。

<st1:time hour="22" minute="11" w:st="on">22:11</st1:time> “喜愛”清心的人,   因他嘴上的恩言,   王必與他為友。

<st1:time hour="22" minute="11" w:st="on">22:11</st1:time> He who loves a pure heart and whose speech is gracious will have the king for his friend.

小結

弟兄姊妹,   上列 12 節經文是神在箴言書中所說的話。這些都是耶和華所愛的。希望我們能仔細思考,   常常存在心中。

(2). 人所愛的

<st1:time hour="13" minute="22" w:st="on">1:22</st1:time> 說,   你們愚昧人 “喜愛”愚昧,   褻慢人喜歡褻慢,   愚頑人恨惡知識,   要到幾時呢？

<st1:time hour="13" minute="22" w:st="on">1:22</st1:time> "How long will you simple ones love your simple ways? How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge?

<st1:time hour="17" minute="19" w:st="on">5:19</st1:time> 他如可愛的麀鹿,   可喜的母鹿。願他的胸懷,   使你時時知足。他的 “愛情”,   使你常常戀慕。

<st1:time hour="17" minute="19" w:st="on">5:19</st1:time> A loving doe, a graceful deer--may her breasts satisfy you always, may you ever be captivated by her love.

<st1:time hour="19" minute="18" w:st="on">7:18</st1:time> 你來,   我們可以飽享 “愛情”,   直到早晨。我們可以彼此親愛歡樂。

<st1:time hour="13" minute="24" w:st="on">13:24</st1:time> 不忍用杖打兒子的,   是恨惡他。 “疼愛”兒子的,   隨時管教。

<st1:time hour="17" minute="19" w:st="on">17:19</st1:time> “喜愛”爭競的,   是 “喜愛”過犯。高立家門的,   乃自取敗壞。

<st1:time hour="21" minute="17" w:st="on">21:17</st1:time> “愛”宴樂的,   必致窮乏。好酒 “愛”膏油的,   必不富足。

29:3 “愛慕”智慧的,   使父親喜樂。與妓女結交的,   卻浪費錢財。

29:3 A man who loves wisdom brings joy to his father, but a companion of prostitutes squanders his wealth.

弟兄姊妹,   上列 7 節經文是神在箴言書中所說的,   天然人所愛的事。這些都不是耶和華所愛的。希望我們能仔細思考,   常常存在心中。

2. 愛 (名詞) (Love)

3:3 不可使 “慈愛”誠實離開你。要繫在你頸項上,   刻在你心版上。

3:3 Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.

<st1:time hour="10" minute="12" w:st="on">10:12</st1:time> 恨,   能挑啟爭端。 “愛”,   能遮掩一切過錯。
